Zovirax cream
Zovirax cream is a topical antiviral medication containing 5% acyclovir as its active ingredient. It is used to treat localized skin infections caused by the Herpes Simplex Virus, such as cold sores (fever blisters) on the lips and genital herpes. It works by inhibiting viral replication, helping to shorten outbreak duration and relieve pain and inflammation. The cream should be applied to the affected area 5 times daily (approx. every 4 hours) at the first sign of symptoms like tingling or itch
